Software Engineer, Lead - Chantilly, Virginia 703
Cooperate closely with the client, functional team, financial analysts and data/system owners to develop and execute data-related configuration management and database consolidation plans and translate client requirements into workable IT solutions. Define technical requirements for data sources and net centric database consolidations. Assume primary technical responsibility for interfacing on project issues with system owners and technical working groups, as required, across organizational lines. Provide data/system owners with the technical requirements for ASP, JSP, or .NET-based interfaces with Oracle and other databases. Provide data/system owners with the technical requirements for data import and conversion. Prepare written technical reports to management, indicating and evaluating alternative solutions based on cost, technical risk, and impact on technical systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent and seven years of related experience. Familiarity with internet development environments.
Experience producing technical requirements and implementation plans for complex systems. Experience designing, developing and integrating Net
applications. Experience with XML. Current Secret level clearance.
Experience using CASE tools and Internet and Oracle development environments desired. Experience with Oracle databases desired.
Industry certifications a plus.
