Overview
The Software Engineer is responsible for the implementation of middle tier components for software. We are looking for an outstanding software professional who will assist in the development of a world class, highly intuitive user experience. This individual will collaborate with team members and implement critical product components.
Responsibilities
-Serve as a Software Engineer.
-Design and develop java middle tier software components.
-Produce high quality code that is reliable, extensible and scalable.
-Support, troubleshoot and debug software glitches and bugs that interfere with successful 24/7 operation of our software.
-Contribute to the overall software development effort to help ensure high quality, timely delivery of our software.
Requirements
-Genuine passion for software engineering.
-Minimum 5 years of experience with demonstrated success in developing and shipping complex software products and services.
-Demonstrated expertise in Java in an Enterprise Application architecture.
-Solid understanding of J2EE, Struts and persistence layers.
-Solid understanding of Linux and Windows 2000/2003 operating systems.
-Experience with JBoss, Web Logic or Oracle Application Server.
-Proactive and effective communicator, leader and team player.
-Demonstrated success in building successful enterprise software.
-BS (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related area of study.
