Experience and Skills:
Candidates who wished to be considered for this position must possess a background in software application development, in-depth experience working directly with and managing clients, and the following skill set:
. Solid analysis, design, and programming experience using VB.Net, ASP.Net or C# (VB.Net preferred)
. 4 or more years of programming experience in the following: VB 6.0, COM, DCOM, Visual Interdev, MS SQL Server, .Net)
. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Platforms . Experience in multiple programming disciplines & methodologies (e.g.. SDLC, XP, Waterfall, Iterative, etc.)
. Experience designing & developing Enterprise level applications and software customizations that are high performance, scalable, and extensible.
. Experience using use cases, functional specifications, PM methodologies
. Superior oral and written communication skills
. Excellent interpersonal and client management skills, including the ability to deliver effective client presentations
. Excellent consultative & technical problem solving skills, programming or consulting experience in a Professional Services organization a plus
. Bachelors degree in Computer Science (advanced degree a plus)
. Experience with business intelligence and complex database programming is a strong plus
. Experience integrating with other Enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, Great Plains, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, etc.) a plus. Experience in the nonprofit environment a plus
. Occasional travel may be required
